Peter Island Resort & Spa is an upscale private resort located in the British Virgin Islands. It’s where timeless beauty meets pure indulgence. And despite the numerous competitive advantages the resort has over its competition, it had been experiencing year-over-year declines in occupancy. A new integrated branding initiative and a complete integrated marketing campaign was developed. After the first year the resort was leading it's category.

Digital

A complete re-design of Peter Island’s web presence was developed and designed to be viewed on smart phones and tablets. Responsibilities included concept, creative direction, photo shoots, b-roll, and functionality. To support Peter Island’s digital presence social media, flikr, google earth and banners were utilized.

Challenge

Peter Island Resort & Spa wanted to create visibility for their world class marina within the boating community.

 

Solution

Create an event promoting the marina at one of the largest boat shows in the world - The Ft. Lauderdale International

Boat Show. For the event location the resort’s owner provided his private yacht, the Enterprise V.

 

The plan was to host a cocktail reception complete with a fine rum tasting, steel band, and cuisine inspired by the

island’s kitchens. Key members of the Peter Island staff were in attendance as well. The day of the event potential

guests were selected and given an invitation. We estimated a maximum of 50 guests, and had over 75 in attendance.

Print

Using the key insight of "Everything you desire. Privately." we created a print campaign that was focused on selling Island Buyouts and Villa Rentals. A very targeted media buy focused on affluent magazines.

Collateral

As part of the re-branding effort, all touchpoints of the resort were re-designed. This included a family of brochures, in-room collateral, promotional, and arrival gifts.

Direct Mail

A series of direct mail pieces were created for the resort. Below is the Hammock promotion sent to past guests. By booking a stay at the resort they would recieve a $500 resort credit and a branded Peter Island hammock was sent to their residence while  at Peter Island Resort & Spa.
